Siobhan Alvarez-Borland (she/her)

Siobhán Alvarez-Borland brings more than 15 years of experience in nonprofit leadership, community engagement, and family support to her role on the Board. Her career spans work with nationally recognized organizations, including the American Cancer Society, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and Boys & Girls Clubs, where she has led strategic programs, built community partnerships, and championed initiatives that strengthen families and expand access to resources.

In addition to her extensive nonprofit background, Siobhán is a certified postpartum doula and the founder of The Little Years Collective and Mimosas & Motherhood®, digital platforms dedicated to evidence-based support for new parents. Through her educational content, she has reached millions of families, helping them navigate postpartum recovery, early childhood, and the emotional realities of modern motherhood with compassion, honesty and practical tools.

As a pansexual woman and passionate advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community, Siobhán is committed to creating spaces where all individuals and families feel seen, supported, and affirmed. Her work, both professionally and personally, is rooted in the belief that inclusive, trauma-informed, and community-driven environments are essential for helping people thrive.

Siobhán lives in the Atlanta area with her husband and their three children, and continues to use her voice, experience and creativity to uplift families and foster meaningful connection across communities.
