Donna is a passionate LGBTQ+ advocate and nonprofit professional with a background in community organizing and volunteer support that spans more than a decade. Her experience has been shaped by her work as a digital crisis counselor for LGBTQ+ youth and as the mom of a transgender college student.
Donna supports the dedicated work of Free Mom Hugs state chapter leaders and volunteers. Whatever the task, she approaches her work — and life — with empathy, accountability and her whole heart.
Donna spends her free time singing in a band, spending time in nature, writing music and poetry, volunteering and creating detail-rich dioramas. She’s happiest when doting on her crew: her incredible kiddo, plus a rescue pack that includes the goodest boi ever (Gilbert), massive lap dog (Kimchi) and notorious sulker (Boma).
