Special Guest Speaker

Jen Hatmaker (she/her)

Jen Hatmaker is the New York Times bestselling author of 14 books including "For the Love" and her latest project, "Feed These People: Slam Dunk Recipes for Your Crew." She is the delighted curator of the Jen Hatmaker Book Club and host of the award-winning "For the Love" podcast, and she leads a tightly knit online community where she reaches millions of people each week. Jen is a co-founder of Legacy Collective, a giving organization that grants millions of dollars towards sustainable projects around the world.

 

Keynote Speakers

Nico Lang (they/them)

Nico Lang is a nonbinary award-winning journalist, author and creator of Queer News Daily and previously served as the deputy editor for Out magazine, the news editor for Them, the LGBTQ+ correspondent for VICE, and the editor and cofounder of the literary journal "In Our Words." 

River Gallo (they/them)

River Gallo is a Salvadoran-American filmmaker, actor, writer, model, and intersex activist born and raised in New Jersey. Their feature "Ponyboi" premiered at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival in the U.S. Dramatic Competition. River wrote, produced, and starred in the film, making it the first narrative feature created by and starring an out intersex artist in cinema history. "Ponyboi" is based on their 2019 short film of the same name that was executive produced by Emma Thompson and Stephen Fry, and premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival.

Kathy Baldock (she/her)

Kathy is an author, LGBTQ+ advocate, and founder of Canyonwalker Connections, based in Reno, NV, is a leading expert on the historical  and current discrimination against the LGBTQ+ community, in particular from the socially conservative Christian church and political sectors.

 

Sara Cunningham (she/her)

Sara Cunningham is an author, activist and founder of Free Mom Hugs. After her son came out to her as gay, she found herself on a journey “from the church to the Pride parade.” In the wake of beautiful glitter-covered hugs and heartbreaking horror stories, the mission of Free Mom Hugs began. Simple acts of love and acceptance turned into a viral sensation, and Sara knew she had the opportunity to lead impactful change.
